Home, the hospital, your office, the kitchen table — wherever you need to sign, I'll meet you there. Wills, medical forms, travel papers for the kids, car titles, documents headed overseas. Evenings and weekends are fine.
If you're not sure your document fits, just ask — a quick call usually sorts it out.
The important stuff you've finally sat down to sort out. I'll come to your home or your attorney's office so it gets signed right.
When someone can't get out of bed and the paperwork can't wait, I'll get there fast — hospital, hospice, nursing home, or a correctional facility.
Sending a kid abroad, finalizing an adoption, or getting papers ready for another country? I notarize them and handle the trip to Lansing to get them authenticated.
Selling a car, sorting out a title, or onboarding a remote hire? These are the fast, in-and-out jobs — no lawyer needed.
Call, email, or book online. Tell me what you're signing, where, and when. I'll give you the price right then — no mystery.
Have your photo ID handy and leave the document unsigned till I'm there. I come to you, on time.
We sign, I stamp it, you're set. If it's headed overseas, I take it from there and get it to Lansing.
I'll drive up to about two hours to reach you, anywhere in the state. Here's where I run most often:
Don't see your town? Call anyway. If you're a little outside my usual range I'll tell you straight, and if I can't make it I'll help you find someone who can.
There are two parts: the flat fee per signature, and a travel fee to come to you. That's it.
Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Saline, Chelsea, Dexter — my home turf.
Any county outside Washtenaw, within my driving range.
If you're more than 60 miles away, I add $10 for every 10 miles past that, on top of the travel fee. Gas isn't free, but I keep it fair.
For example: a 70-mile trip to the next county for one signature runs $80 — $60 to travel, $10 for the extra miles, $10 for the signature.
Every one's a little different — depends on the document, how many you've got, and how fast you need it. Give me a call and I'll quote you honestly.
Pricing depends on the facility, what's required to get in, and the drive. Tell me where, and I'll sort out the rest.
Because these take more planning, the full fee is paid by card when you book. Once that's in, I get to work lining everything up.
I'll always tell you the full price up front. The $10 signature fee is set by the State of Michigan; travel and specialty fees are separate from it. Prepaid fees are card only; the signature fee at signing can be card or cash. I'm a notary, not a lawyer — I can't give legal advice or write your documents for you. And just so it's clear: I get apostilles processed for you, but the State of Michigan is the one that actually issues them.
Give me a call, shoot me an email, or grab a time online. Most weeks I can get to you within a day or two — and if it's urgent, say so.
